It was mighty windy here last night, but the storm sparked a poem.

We were asked to write a love poem to the DS106 Daily Create. I went with limerick instead (but heck, there’s love in there, too).
Peace (in five lines of rhyme),
Kevin

Last year, one of my poems got chosen for the National Baseball Festival and they just released a video about the event at the park and in the city of Worcester. My poem is now part of the collection of all of the poems from last season.
Here is a link to this season’s baseball poetry contest.
Peace (and poems),

This poem comes from the morning prompt at Open Write and uses the interesting aspect of stanzas interacting with a Magic 8 Ball. I found an online Magic 8 Ball to use, and this mentor poem was helpful.
Peace (shaking it up),
Kevin
This morning’s DS106 Daily Create/Write Out prompt was about “things to do” with something from nature. I chose an acorn, in the act of waiting for something to happen.
Peace (in the soil),

Ok, so Steve will wake up today and see/hear what I have done and I am hopeful he will be OK with it but I took the audio file of him reading a lovely poem called Vestige: An Assay, split up the stanzas, used his words to inspire my own poem, and then wove our voices together to create something new.
Peace (and voice),
Kevin

It’s as if every Autumn, our dog has never seen geese in migration. Yesterday, a flock flew over us and she stopped, mid-play with a fetch ball in her mouth, looking at the geese and me, as if to say, what the hell is that? And me, replying, you see these geese every single year.
Peace (in moments),
Kevin
Peace (and remembering),
