This response is to a prompt via Write Out about how we observe the world.

The prompt for the Daily Create was a cool, meditative one — explore the sounds of forests around the world with Tree.fm — where people submit audio of immersive forests — and reflect on the experience, ideally with audio. I wandered into the Yasuni National Park in Equador.
Peace (in the trees),

This morning’s prompt for DS106 Daily Create had us going into past prompts to find a favorite and I always enjoy the activities of Remixer, including the Field Notes. So I remixed it with an image from a hike yesterday on the final day of Write Out and added a poem, inspired by the photo.
Peace (in the wild),
Kevin

I always enjoy playing with the tree fractal site from today’s prompt at DS106. I added some birds via Giphy.
Peace (in flight),

I interviewed Rob Walker — author of The Art of Noticing — for Write Out a few weeks ago and it it aired last night for Write Out.
Peace (and noticing),

For a prompt at DS106 Daily Create that I submitted as part of our Write Out work, we are asked to consider a Garden At Night. I did the artwork above but then called to mind the REM song, too.
Peace (in the garden),
