The prompt for the DS106 Daily Create this morning was to write a 100-word story about the Daily Create. I went into list mode instead of story mode.
The Daily Create:
- is a sip of something unexpected
- can a bit of a challenge, but with a cushion
- is the start of a question: what media will I make with, this morning?
- on some days, results in something just good enough; other days, just barely; and then sometimes, absolutely spot on and worth celebrating
- begins with wondering what others are going to make
- is morning ritual
- takes the form of creative noise (good noise, though) inside the quiet
- an echo, at times, of ideas from the past coming back into view
- is a reminder of the power of play
