We had back to back moon-ish prompts for the daily haiku.
Peace (in the sky),

If you don’t live it, it won’t come out of your horn. ~ Charlie Parker
We had back to back moon-ish prompts for the daily haiku.

With a prompt like today’s Blackbird as the key word, it’s hard not to hear The Beatles in your head.
Peace (on a wing),

Peace (in time),

Childhood fears was at the heart of the prompt for this morning’s Daily Create. I chose to go with a poem, and then used Lumen5 to make it digital.
In The Forgetting
Remember to hold
the moments
in your heart
For in the forgetting,
you’re only letting
the unexplained in
Each of our tapestries
is memory, threaded
in ways, but fragile
Peace (in the remembering),

The words “fresh water” were the prompt for this morning’s Haiku and I heard the river in my mind.
Peace (flowing forward),
Kevin
The prompt was “egg” for this morning’s haiku. I went metaphor and considered finding a cracked egg as art, but I am trying to remain somewhat positive. (not always easy these days).
Peace (finding it inside),
Kevin
The prompt for Haiku this morning was “note” and I immediately though of musical notes, and then, how I can’t ever seem to hold a single note without a bit of a wobble.
Peace (phase shifting),
Kevin

It’s Valentine’s Day, so two poems about love. The first one is from a prompt via DS106 Daily Create.
Peace (and love and understanding),
Kevin
The one-word prompt this morning off Mastodon was “cloud” and this was the poem I wrote. And then it made sense to have some visuals of clouds, right?
Peace (in the sky),

I have never used LinkedIn but from what I can tell, it’s becoming an empty space with lots of AI Chatbots running wild (I could be wrong). For the DS106 Daily Create prompt, we were asked to write Broetry, based on an observation of what is being posted on LinkedIn. I felt a strong Samuel Beckett reflex, and my eh, Broem, is more Godot than LinkedIn.
Peace (waiting for it),
Kevin
