Every now and then, the daily prompts for DS106 Daily Create make me stop and scratch my head. This is a good thing, by the way. This morning, for example, the prompt called for making some Asemic writing (see an overview), a form of abstract art.
The sentence that stuck out for me, from Wikipedia, was this: “Asemic writing is a hybrid art form that fuses text and image into a unity, and then sets it free to arbitrary subjective interpretations.”
I cheated a bit and used an online Asemic Writing Generator (there’s such a thing) and what it gave me (image above) reminded a bit of some musical lines, flowing from left to right, with each line another sound or instrument. If I had more time, I might even try to compose something musical with the image as framework.
Peace (in art),
Kevin
