I highly recommend this collection of short essays, with illustrated art of the shelves of books writers, artists, musicians, designers and others would chose to represent them in the form of book spines. I jotted down quite a few titles as I was reading through My Ideal Bookshelf.
And I kept thinking, what would I put on my own ideal bookshelf?
