Poetry: Secret, I Sing You

Secret (Blackout Poem)

This found/blackout poem comes from this morning’s prompt at Open Write, with Secret by Gwendolyn B. Bennett as the beautiful source of words.

Secret:
make a song,
gold-woven
with shadows

My fingers
play you,
gently,

a blanket,
blue like
silver

I sing
and in
my heart

I shelter
you, secretly

Peace (and shadows),
Kevin
